Onion Rings

Makes 8, 4 oz servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (3 1/2 cups) Krusteaz Professional® Western Chicken Breader and Batter Mix 733-0660
  • 20 fl oz (2 1/2 cups) water
  • 36 oz (4 large) onions, cut in 1/2-inch slices

Method

  1. Place Krusteaz Professional Western Chicken Breader & Batter Mix and water in mixer bowl.
  2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 30 seconds or until blended.
  3. Separate onion slices into rings.
  4. Coat rings with batter. Lightly drain off excess batter. Fry at 365°F about 3 minutes or until golden.
