Coconut Cream Joyfully Nutty Brownies

Makes 20, 3x3-inch servings

Ingredients

Brownie
  • 4 lb (1 pouch) Krusteaz Professional® Ready to Bake Brownie Batter (#732-0605)
  • 1 lb Krusteaz Professional® Vanilla Crème Icing
  • 2.4 oz Hot Water
  • 3 cups Sweetened Flake Coconut – Divided
  • 1 cup Chopped Almonds
  • ½ Cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Method

  1. Prepare 16x12x1-inch sheet pan (half sheet) by lightly greasing or spraying with non- stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut open one end of pouch and squeeze batter into prepared pan.
  3. Spread batter with spatula until even.
  4. For convection oven, bake at 325°F 27-32 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 375°F 36-41 minutes.
  5. Allow brownies to cool completely before applying coconut icing.
  6. Follow directions for making Krusteaz Professional® Vanilla Crème Icing.
  7. Fold 2 cups coconut into icing.
  8. Spread coconut icing over cooled brownie. Top with chopped almonds, mini chocolate chips and remaining coconut.
